This project is an opportunity to build on the current 12km of mountain bike trails in the Mornington Peninsula/Arthurs Seat area. This will improve trail connectivity and expand the existing network, helping to meet the increasing demand as mountain bike riders are now the most prolific users of Arthurs Seat State Park. The new trails will cater for all riders, ranging from families and recreational riders to more experienced, technical mountain bike riders, with a variety of trail grade options (beginner, intermediate and advanced) in accordance with the International Mountain Bicycling Association (IMBA) standards.
Mountain bike riding is a great way to connect family and friends, experience the natural environment, whilst improving physical and mental health. It is an outdoor, year-round activity that can be enjoyed alone or in a group, by children and families, women and men, recreational riders and elite competitors. The expansion of the trail network will provide opportunities for increased participation, whilst reducing trail congestion and improve the user experience. It will also reduce the risk of illegal and unsafe trails within the park, contributing to environmental sustainability. This meets with Parks Victoria's philosophy of Healthy Parks, Healthy People.

Great project for generations to come. It will be a great addition to the beautiful Peninsula. And the biking community is growing so we need more tracks to accommodate this growth

Arthur’s Seat is a prime location for recreational sport and MTBing suits all ages. Please support this cause. With the new chairlift now completed it just makes sense.

Mountain biking presents so many benefits to communities; it increases the physical and mental health of its users, riders bring money to the local businesses, it gives youths activities to do and helps people get off their screens, supports a fun lifestyle for people of all ages and abilities. Best of all, this trail center is one of the closest to Melbourne. Expanding it will have huge benefits and really doesn't cost that much compared to other projects. It will also be great to have more trails underneath the Eagle chairlift!
