The Anglesea Golf Club is a wonderful venue for locals and visitors to meet and socialise. However it is very outdated and not at all appealing in decor. It is in desperate need of a lift in style and comfort.

Our clubhouse is in desperate need of refurbishment. When it was last renovated it was done in a very 'clubby' style. Nearly 20 years later it looks extremely dated. Carpets and chairs are stained and faded.
To maintain visitor patronage a complete update is required.
Love our club but not the clubhouse.

The clubhouse is very much in need of a facelift. The facility is used by Members, the local community for groups such as Probes and tourists who are increasing rapidly due to the kangaroo tours.

The club rooms at Anglesea golf club are visited by many tourists as well as the local clubs needing a venue for meetings or other functions. As such they need to be presentable and to provide a good impression to our touring visitors many from overseas. To this end the rooms are in need of updating to a more modern appearance.

The Anglesea Golf Club is in need of the proposed interior refurbishment. The club is unique in the area providing both a place for residents to play golf and relax as well as being an attraction for tourists and holiday makers.f he existing facilities are very tired and worn and need to be updated to ensure it remains a vibrant and attractive facility for members and tourists alike. The Anglesea Golf Club, clubhouse is used by members, local guests and international visitors and is definitely in need of an internal refurbishment. The majority of the members are retired folk. The club has done its best over the years to keep the cost of Club Membership to a minimum to allow as many who wish so to be members and spend time in both an active recreation facility. The support of this grant will spread the benefit of the funds receivedacross a wide area of the community.

The Anglesea Golf Club is in desperate need of an interior refurbishment. The facilities of the Club are very tired and worn and need to be replaced with a bright and modern decor. The Golf Club is used by many clubs, schools and groups in the area as well as attracting many visitors and international tourists throughout the year. You need an inviting environment to keep members and visitors coming to this wonderful and friendly Club. Please support this grant for the Anglesea Golf Club and the community.

The Anglesea Golf Club is an integral part of the Anglesea community and provides a valuable contribution to the social, sporting and tourism activities of our Anglesea and our neighbouring towns. It is vital that the club continues to attract new members and visitors and the clubhouse facilities certainly require an up-grade / makeover.

Anglesea Golf Club is not only an integral part of the town of Anglesea and it’s surrounding towns social structure it also plays an ever increasing tourist attraction for both Federal and State Government with its ever growing “Roo” tours. An upgrade of existing facilities in the clubhouse is in the best interests of all involved parties

As a "Roo Tour" volunteer, I support this application for a funding grant. Whilst so many country and urban golf clubs are languishing due t o falling memberships, Anglesea Golf Club is taking initiatives to ensure its survival! The clubhouse facilities are dated and no longer attractive to discerning visitors. An update and refreshment of the facility would be a real shot in the arm for the Club, particularly in providing a memorable experience for members and visitors alike.

The Anglesea Golf Club is one of very few facilities available in the town where local interest groups and members of the general public can gather to socialise and enjoy a wonderful golf course. It has also become extremely popular with tourists who are there mainly for the kangaroo tours. A refurbishment of the clubhouse will enhance the opportunity for these visitors to stay and enjoy a meal with the friendly locals and staff at the club. This will also give some certainty for the ongoing future of the club and its employees.

The Anglesea Golf club is one of the regions most important social hubs where the anglesea community can eat, drink and socialize in a beautiful environment. It helps bond the community. An important regional employer but in need of a refurbishment which would only enhance its service to the township.

My golf club and social hub for 38 years is now struggling to improve the interior decor which is outdated and unattractive to prospective new members and the many overseas visitors who enjoy our now increasingly popular Roo Tours. This upgrade would help to ensure the exsistence of our club as a public function venue as well as a much loved sporting club.

Desperately needs a refurbishment update!!

The Anglesea Golf Club is a iconic Club and is use by many organizations such as a meeting place for Probus Surfcoast Anglesea Inc. Many locals use the Club for many social engagements and enjoy Tuesday and Friday's Happy Hour were we catch up with friends. also it is on the Map in Google where to find Kangaroos, and it has become a attraction with its famous Roo Tours run by dedicated volunteers. Needs refurbishment to keep the club viable. Michael Mc Mahon.

Sharyn and I have been coming to the golf club rooms for 20years and have had many great days and nights there. We have been golf members of this iconic course and club for 3 years. However to attract and maintain new clientele the space needs significant refurbishment for it to compete amongst other quality venues in the area.

Anglesea Golf Club is an integral part of Anglesea life for local residents, for not only golf, but for a multitude of social occasions. Additionally, the club is increasingly engaged in tourism via their now famous Roo Tours. The club refurbishment is long overdue and required to facilitate all of these endeavours.
