Clubhouse Refurbishment

Needs a major upgrade to cope with today's usage for the community and the increased number of visitors both local and from overseas

A refurbishment of the clubhouse would enhance this facility and encourage the community and visitors to make the best use of it with the added bonus of views of the tranquil and scenic surroundings, flora and fauna.

The club really could use a facelift to be an inviting tourist destination and help the club to stay viable.

The clubhouse need refurbishment to entice tourists from all countries to use the facilities of the dining and bar, especially when they have interest in the roo tours in the precincts,

The clubhouse refurbishment is desperately overdue and will attract more members and guests to the clubhouse. There are many wonderful people at the Anglesea Golf Club but most are a bit embarrassed by the archaic state of the clubhouse.

The club house is a hub in the area and is used by many.

Club house needs renovations to make it inviting to the increase in tourist because of the Roo tours, it is well overdue.
The location and view is sensation, but under utilised, a refurbishment would make the club house more modern and be welcomed by member, visitors & the increasing tourists.

Great location , with great tourist and local facilities however clubrooms are dated and in need of modernisation to meet the tourist expectations

This clubhouse is used not only by the Golf Club but thanks to the generosity of the club it is able to be used by a variety of community groups free of charge. Through this generosity the clubhouse has seen deterioration over time and without an injection of funds to complete an upgrade the community might not be able to receive the benefit it expects.

The club rooms are used by a variety of community groups including Marjong players, Brige groups, Ladies golf groups as well as men’s golf.
The club is a non profit club with all funds spent on providing and maintaining a golf club that is open to everyone. However our funds don’t allow us to refurbish the rooms and they are badly in need of a major overhaul. Please vote for the refurbishment of our club.

The Golf club is a great local facility and visited by heaps of tourists.. Improvement to the club rooms will only attract more tourists to Anglesea. Needs to happen now.

Wonderful club but would benefit greatly and attract many more visitors from within and outside the region with a Clubhouse upgrade - would provide a much nicer environment for visitors to and members of the Club.

As more and more international tourists come to Anglesea, partly to see the kangaroos at the golf course, decent clubhouse facilities will be a further encouragement for them and their dollars to be spread around the community.

Our Club is visited by many tourists and locals we support the club because its a great asset to the town and there is some great people behind the scenes making everything run well even though its pretty tired and outdated.
The management has worked very hard at getting the Roo tours off the ground and we want to ensure we have the best facilities possible for everyone to enjoy.
We need the refurbishment grant to keep this club up to date and keep people supporting this local golf club.

Refurbishment is necessary to present club in best light to ensure tourists continue to be attracted to the coast.

Update to club house and facilities is overdue ,the significance of this project cannot be overstated because of increasing tourism value adding

Desperately needs an update and we would use it a lot more often.

I have been a member of The Anglesea Golf Club for upwards of 50 years. Over that time I have seen it grow from humble beginnings to what it is today.
The clubhouse needs to continually be upgraded to keep abreast of current needs. A grant to help the proposed upgrade would go a long way to ensure this is the case.

THE Anglesea golf club is providing work in the Barwon region. With introduction of the Roo tours it has provided another reason for people to stop & spend time in Anglesea rather that just driving down the Ocean rd to spend there money else wear. Better facilities would further enhances these endeavors.

Please make these much needed upgrades proceed to enhance what is already a fantastic facility
