We are about connecting people to create vibrant, sustainable, resilient neighbourhoods throughout the City of Greater Geelong. We will run a series of fun informative workshops for residents in the areas of Water, Energy, Food, Transport, Waste & Consumption such as Permaculture design, Foraging, Preserving & Fermenting, Beekeeping, Composting, Wicking beds, Growing mushrooms, Healthy cooking, Rocket stoves, Biochar, DIY simple carpentry, Home and garden energy efficiency ending in an innovative festival weekend event, full of hands-on learning and inspiring speakers.
These workshops will provide affordable opportunities for you to develop skills, knowledge and experience in empowering and creative ways of living, both individually and by sharing in community, that reduce waste and emissions and localise food production and other services. They will enable you to find out about a wide range of health and lifestyle options.
You will meet like-minded local proactive people and have access to teachers and resources not yet widely available in Geelong .
In this time of ecological challenges, join us and be part of the solution. You will feel a sense of belonging and purpose.
