Transition Streets Geelong completes project
Transition Streets Geelong completed its project in March 2020.
The project ran a series of workshops educating residents to live sustainably. The workshops ended in an innovative festival weekend, with hands-on learning and inspiring speakers. Transition Streets Geelong has seen a huge uptake in people joining their ongoing groups, as well as via social media. Many people have reported feeling more connected to like-minded people and their local community. This has contributed to alleviated feelings of social isolation and normalised caring for the environment.
