Arts and culture give diversity to rural communities, changing conservative values to contemporary mindsets. This ideal geographical location will provide convenient access from regional and metropolitan visitors to view the outstanding art work. Any project that provides further opportunity to broaden and retain existing agriculture of crops and grazing can only sustain the Australian food bowl and population. The project will create a focus point for a new wave of activity strengthening existing business enterprises and sporting and recreational activities. This will result in improved sustainability, employment, mental wellbeing, inclusiveness, tourism and community engagement.

This project builds on existing business ventures in the region – The Heathcote wine district, the urbanization of regional towns and providing an opportunity to experience a rural lifestyle. The farming communities pride in their agricultural work will be enhanced and provide resilience to those often inflicted by low self-esteem from droughts and poor prices, given the awareness of mental health and suicide prevalence. The project will significantly benefit this community by creating a sense of identity, confidence, acceptance, recognition, sustainability and wellbeing; along with experiencing an attractive rural lifestyle that has opportunity for growth and tourism.

An excellent project to create local tourism interest. Projects like this are now very popular with tourists in inland Australia, including in western Victoria.

A small but vibrant community which deserves all the assistance it can get, which will enhance the attraction and bring more to enjoy the rural hospitality which already exists.

Go for it Colbo. A fantastic initiative for the best small town in Australia and yet another reason for travellers to visit and spend some time. Those silos can tell plenty of stories , and what better way to proudly display them all.

Silo Art is putting regional Victoria on the map and encouraging visitors to embrace beautiful rural towns . Colbo would be a wonderful addition to that trail and help to support a welcoming and generous community💕

On my travels around north-west Victoria, I have viewed some of the silo art, the overwhelming feeling that hits me is one of reverence. The paintings tell of the people that are a legacy to our community and our country, they stand proud and tall, some could be our ancestors. It shows the true grit and the perseverance of the real Aussie farmer and their families.

Wow, what an amazing sight it would be with the Colbo "XMAS Star" shining above each December, looking out over the beautiful hills and fields surrounding Colbinabbin. Good luck, you have my vote.

Would be a wonderful addition to this lovely town which we have just visited. We felt the drive between Rochester and Colbinabbin was picturesque with miles of gorgeous vineyards as the backdrop on an easy drive between these 2 towns. We had also just completed a tour of Goorambat, Devenish, Tungamah and Rochester to see silo art and this town would be an obvious link to these 4 great works of art.
