Arts and culture give diversity to rural communities, changing conservative values to contemporary mindsets. This ideal geographical location will provide convenient access from regional and metropolitan visitors to view the outstanding art work. Any project that provides further opportunity to broaden and retain existing agriculture of crops and grazing can only sustain the Australian food bowl and population. The project will create a focus point for a new wave of activity strengthening existing business enterprises and sporting and recreational activities. This will result in improved sustainability, employment, mental wellbeing, inclusiveness, tourism and community engagement.

This project builds on existing business ventures in the region – The Heathcote wine district, the urbanization of regional towns and providing an opportunity to experience a rural lifestyle. The farming communities pride in their agricultural work will be enhanced and provide resilience to those often inflicted by low self-esteem from droughts and poor prices, given the awareness of mental health and suicide prevalence. The project will significantly benefit this community by creating a sense of identity, confidence, acceptance, recognition, sustainability and wellbeing; along with experiencing an attractive rural lifestyle that has opportunity for growth and tourism.

A wonderful idea/suggestion, Silo Art has been a fantastic draw card for day trip tourists for the towns that currently have silo art, this would be a wonderful addition for Colbinabbin.

One of the best views in Victoria: at sunset from the ridge of Mt Camel range, across Colbo. A wonderful community and a great opportunity.

A great addition to look at while people are touring the Heathcote wine area. The extra tourism it will bring would be well received by the town along with the added benefit of an amazing piece of artwork to admire.

Colbinabbin Is the logical heart of the Heathcote wine region, being centrally located in the region and with an attractive town and hotel able to be niched for wine tasting and other tourists. Silo art would be the perfect next step towards realizing the key tourism role that Colbinabbin could have in the region and raising the profile of this central-Victorian gem.

This would great for this small community to have tourists coming to Colbinabbin see them and inject money into their local economy.
