For many people the words ‘hunger’ and ‘malnutrition’ conjure up images of starvation in Horn of Africa countries and developing nations in Asia. Most Australians are unaware that hunger and malnutrition also exist much closer to home. The Sikh volunteers free food van will provide assistance to people who might be facing tough times. We will offer a friendly face and a warm meal to people in the City of Casey. Our program will cover areas such as Tooradin, Cranbourne, Hampton Park, Doveton, Hallam, Narre Warren South and Berwick etc. We are inclusive of all people in society.
The main target for our program is people who can not afford to eat, who are homeless and in need of a helping hand. The Sikh Free Food Van will nourish people who are hungry and in most need in our community.
Our volunteers help break through the barriers of loneliness and isolation that many
living on the fringe of society suffer. We will provide a meal and and most importantly,
companionship. As a result, we have helped foster genuine communities of friends from all walks of life. We operate where the need is greatest.

Well done on your outstanding service. I’ll
Recognize all human race as one
Having visited Sikh Temples in India where thousands are fed every day, this is a wonderful humanitarian tradition which I fully support.

Everyone deserve meal a day...gud job
People like you a ray of hope that will drag those whose are drowned in darkness.your work cannot be measured by size ;You have proved that volunteers do not want to be praised for helping others, rather they are the people who thank others for giving them the opportunity to help others.
Nobody should be sleeping without meal.
