SIKH Volunteers Casey Food Van completes project
SIKH Volunteers Casey Food Van completed its project in March 2020.
The project constructed a commercial kitchen and purchased a food van to provide free cooked food to people experiencing hardship. Sikh Volunteers Australia now have a permanent place to cook and is using money saved from rent to extend their home delivery service. The group is now able to be more responsive to disaster emergencies, providing free meals to more people in need.
