This new outdoor landscaped area will be the heart of the school: the main entry; a community meeting space and a mindfulness area for students to use. In a recent well-being survey, students identified the need for a play area to be set aside for passive activities, away from the ball games and active play areas of the school. Our new passive play and community space will serve as a quiet place to relax and sort out problems, chat to friends, meet new people and become an additional outside classroom and a special project area for our students and community.

Our school was originally built for three hundred students and now we have close to eight hundred and fifty students and many new portable classrooms. This limits places to sit and be calm without the danger of being hit by a ball. We will work as a team with our wonderfully diverse students and local people to build a passive play space for the school and outside of school hours for the community to come and meet at the school. This space will incorporate our diverse culture, local history and native flora and become the heart of our community.

A passive play space at PMPS will have a really positive impact on a school that keeps growing and growing population wise but lessening its outdoor recreational space in a suburb that is fairly high density. And it will also provide a potentially terrific learning tool for students, teachers and parents alike.

One of these children might be our future Prime Minister or a Premier. Teach them now what is important and what needs to be prioritised and when they do get to leadership positions- they will hopefully pay forward again.

A fabulous school that deals with a high number of students with limited space and resources. This project would provide an excellent space for the children.

The school has had to bear much congestion as student numbers have skyrocketed. For the wellbeing of these children this project must go ahead.

The school was originally built for 200 students. We now have over 800. Kids need a new play ground where they are all safe, happy and engaged

God bless, I hope we make it. Each year the capacity of students at the school is only increasing at a rapid rate. We need as much help as we can get to aid a brighter future for our up-and-coming generation. Happiness makes learning easier.

PMPS is an inner city school with limited space for children to play and thus an expanded play area is very important. As the school population continues to grow this expanded play area is increasingly needed for children to play and socialise appropriately.

The kids need an expanded play area

Enrolments at PMPS have grown enormously over recent years and the outdoor space for children has greatly decreased. An outdoor area in which children can enjoy some relaxation time, away from the crowd, is much needed in this school.

The play area of this school belongs to the kids. This has been taken away from them, and needs a much needed makeover.

The school is the hub of the local area and this space would not only provide kids with a great sense of pride but also a functional place to reflect

Our school really needs this investment to support the continued growth of the school and an area where kids can relax and connect with their mates.

This is a wonderful idea and right now children at PMPS is required this play space because of accelerated rate of admissions.
