This project and upgrade is vital to the national water sports centre from every prospective wether it be getting rid of an eye sore and replacing the tower with a much needed facelift or to add extra security and stability to those whom use this building on a regular basis, or finally having the necessities to efficiently use the tower in countless ways.
The local community and many others will greatly benefit from this project going ahead

This project will really assist with helping the National Water Sports Centre reach its full potential as a major water sports aquatic facility that is truly unique to Victoria. The project to upgrade the tower and PA system will benefit all current and future users of the site and will act as an attractor for future events both at a local, state and national level.

Such a long overdue upgrade. Refurbishing the tower and installing a new PA system will have so many benefits for current users of the National Water Sports Centre and groups that want to use it but the facilities aren't suitable. This project really needs as many people as possible to vote to ensure the upgrades can happen.

What a fantastic initiative! Improving local facilities for local communities and user groups. The seating upgrade was the first capital improvement works on this facility I've seen in ages. Let's utilise and improve these wide open spaces as often as possible.

A fabulous opportunity for the first major upgrade of the National Water Sports Centre since construction in 1989. Together with other Government Funding this will benefit all the User Groups, the Sporting Clubs and the Community. National and International Events will also be developed with financial and cultural benefits to enhance a great facility for all.

This is a crucial part of the community and it is in need of some serious some support. It would be amazing if we got the chance to fix it up

With the tower being in a state of disrepair this funding will allow the tower to be safe and secure for many years into the future. This will allow a variety of user groups, community organisations and special interest groups to use this valuable community asset into the future.

This will be a great start to the overall vision to bring the state of the NWSC up to current community standards! As a user of the centre it will help benefit a large array of community groups and NWSC users and help with safety and security challenges of the area.

An upgrade to the Tower and P. A. System would greatly benefit our club when we use this venue.
The P.A. would help with safety and keep spectators informed as to whats happening on the water.

The NWSC tower is a great asset to the local area for many and varied community groups. From rowing clubs to bird watchers to drag boat enthusiasts, this tower is a critical piece of infrastructure. Funding for this improvement project would be a great contribution to the local and broader Victorian community and would add value to a wide range of people. I look forward to seeing it funded!

very run down needs updating and sound system needs whole new revamp could be used by more groups with upgrades

Would be great to see updated, had been a hazard and an eyesore for far too long.

The Tower is an eyesore, would be great to have a better PA system, some security and lighting of the area, the platform section is a great place to view the entire area.

This is an eyesore and needs to be updated as it is used a lot. Also the PA needs an update as you can’t hardly hear anything when the boats are running.
