BVV Inc. is a non-profit ethnically diverse organisation dedicated to operating as a teaching and training center, public library and a meditation center.
A language / Dhamma school are conducted every Sunday during Victorian school terms; curriculum covers in teaching Sinhala as a LOTE subject and Buddhism to encourage study, promote and practice peace and harmony among all living beings. BVV organises cultural events to introduce culture and heritage to the wider community.
Completion of the project will provide a well maintained temple premises without having mud, dirt / dust with dedicated parking spaces for elderly and disabled passengers, too.
The temple is the only existing occupant in Alira Estate Development project, Berwick. Once the BVV area is developed with open spaces, green areas and vehicle parking, it will become an appropriate community centre and a library for an ethnically diverse wider community.
It will give a peaceful, pleasing to eye appearance to people attending programmes at BVV, people passing by and also people living in the area.
BVV conducts two monthly meditation programmes for elderly and children.
The meditators can use the finished surface for mindfulness walking meditation sessions.
Children will perform outdoor cultural programmes without much inconvenience.

This is the important project for the budhists of Melbourne. Thousands of poeple attending various meditation and children's programms and regular religious events. Lots of seasonal religious functions held at the temple and require car parking facilities. These events which held in the temple, help to build better citizens for the community of Australia.

A place of worship that provides the followers more than anything else, an oppotunity to find inner peace. Meditation is something that is practiced by Buddhists & non-Buddhists alike.
