The Ocean Grove Collendina Cobras Junior Football Club (OGCCJFC) is an Australia Rules junior football club with 14 teams participating in the AFL Barwon Junior Football League competition, current forecast indicate we will have 20 teams and 200 Auskick participants in 2019. The club’s principal activity is to provide opportunities for junior footballers to participate in junior competition, and to learn the skills of Australian Rules Football, our ability to fulfil our principal activity is severely hampered at present due to inadequate and unsafe lighting. The project will provide an additional two light towers greatly enhancing capacity and safety.

Ocean Grove is a growing community and infrastructure provision is inadequate to cater for demand. The project will provide greater capacity for sport, principally football and cricket to cater for current and future demands. The provision of adequate lighting will enable improved safety standards and help facilitate growing demand for women's and girls AFL. The OGCCJFC is a highly respected volunteer led sporting club delivering a valuable service to the local community making a significant contribution to both the physical and social wellbeing of children and families within the greater Ocean Grove community.

Would support ever increasing junior football participation in Ocean Grove, badly needed.

The Ocean Grove Football Netball Club is fully supportive of the OGCCJFC need for improved lighting at their home ground. Footy is booming in our town and additional lighting would be a huge asset to the club and the town.

Footy is booming in Ocean Grove, with up to 6 new junior teams planned for 2019 and the emergence of Girls and Women's AFL we desperately need greater capacity to train and play and to do so in a safe manner. An additional two light towers would help the cause enormously.

The lighting is desperately needed to enable the huge numbers of kids to train safely and develop skills while having fun. This can only help keeping our kids engaged with the sport and enhance our community.

New lighting would enable training nights to be safer for our kids and coaches.

Collendina Reserve is an ideal football ground for the OGCCFC, lighting would ensure the children are safe during training sessions and possibly open opportunities for night games.

Lighting at the cobras oval would greatly enrich the football experience for so many juniors from our ever growing town. It would allow for safer conditions for the 3 groups Auskickers on a Friday night and training nights for the 11 teams of U9, U10 & U11 that the club currently facilitates during the week. The club is a huge asset to the Ocean Grove community and should be treated as such

They do a great job with all the junior football levels and are supported by some many local volunteers. This is a really good community assest

The club needs the lighting to accommodate the growth and allow for more kids to train in a safe environment
