Over a 12 week period deliver weekly practice sessions in 8 primary schools in the Carlton/Parkville area culminating in an eight week round robin competition at the home of Youlden-Parkville Cricket Club – Ryder Oval. This project has been created as currently there is no competition pathway structure that exists for girls to play community club cricket between the ages of 8 and 11.

By creating a competition structure in the Carlton – Parkville area girls in the target age group will have the opportunity to experience community sporting club participation delivering health and social benefits to primary aged school children in the local area.

1 vote in memory of my partner Kit who died last year and was a longtime member of the royal park reds (the good reds). Good luck!

As a cricketing nation it is surprising to find that there is no competition pathway structure that exists for girls to play community club cricket between the ages of 8 and 11. Let's change that!!

Hi Echovalley,

There is a pathway from Woolworths Blast, U11 All Girls, U13 All Girls and U15 All Girls as well as a social senior women’s T20 comp in the area at the North West Metropolitan Cricket Association. If your interested http://nwmca.vic.cricket.com.au/ 🙌🙌🙌
