Providing local youth with the opportunities to experience nature therapy workshops within Braeside park. Students from local schools and community youth groups will attend fortnightly session at Braeside park for health and wellbeing. The workshops will include nature walks, mediation, sunrise & sunset group singing sessions and art therapy through nature activities. Students can attend through organised school sessions, after schools sessions and weekend programs. The workshops are free to attend, the workshops will include walking, art, singing, writing and sharing. To encourage collaboration, connection, respect and wellbeing.

Many young people today are under personal stress due to family, peer pressure and school pressure to name a few. Research as proven that spending time outside in natural spaces contributes to positive wellbeing. By accessing a local natural space such a Braeside park young people can experience the benefits of being outside without having to travel distances ( e.g to the countryside or outback) Through activities such as mediation, storytelling, music therapy ( group singing); health and wellbeing will increase and people with feel positive connections and respect to each other, their communities as well as the local environment.
