Youth in Radio Training Program

This course is designed and open to all youth aged 12-25 years in the Marroabool shire and surrounding area's to gain knowledge and experience in preparing, producing and executing on air programs to the community.

Our vision for this program and the youth is that they will gain new skills, confidence, have interaction with other youth with similar interests and grow friendships whilst having their voices heard within the community on topics that matter to the youth of our community.

We hope that the youth will see and welcome that Apple98.5fm are family and will continue to be involved.

We envision that this project will give the youth another interest within the community to be involved with. Not only will they learn the art of preparing and putting to air their own programs as a team they will also gain knowledge in the producing and the production of creating promotional on air media for our sponsors, learn the technical side of radio, the social media and video platforms to promote our radio station. Enhance their research into relevant media releases and artists, grow there confidence in self esteem and public speaking and get their voices heard in the community.
