This project will engage an individual to ignite passion within disengaged youth and act as a point of call for young people. This person would visit schools to increase awareness and accessibility to services and activities. This individual will not be part of the local council. Instead, they will point individuals in the right direction. They will also host a minimum of two “Find Your Passion” Expos, designed to connect disengaged youth with a range of experts who are dedicated to helping young people discover an activity or club that they can then be engaged with.

This project will aim to re-engage young people in the Port-Phillip community by helping them find and pursue their passions. This will enrich the local community by igniting passion in its youth and increasing accessibility to recreational activities.

This is brilliant, show kids that in this world of changing employment opportunities they can make their livelihoods doing what they enjoy. They can tap into a whole range of possibilities from someone who isn't a parent, teacher, council member, politician etc who has their interests at heart to help them be what they want to be. These are the kids who can do a with self-esteem boost and prove to themselves they have something to offer society.

Great. Youth need help...someone knowledgeable to show them what is available in the area and to encourage them to...‘Give it a Go.’
