YEW (Young Empowered Women) is a seven-week program that will assist young women who have spent time in Dame Phillis Frost Prison to integrate back into the community. This program will include mindfulness, group coaching, discussion and healing activities focusing on life after experiencing family violence, moving forward to create career prospects and healthy and complete integration into the community.

The YEW program will be the first only female-focused program run alongside the Youth Junction INC. to educate and support young women offenders to move forward after incarceration. Currently, there are only community transition programs to assist young men to integrate back into the community after offending. Benefits of the YEW program include; a support group for young women as they integrate back into the community facilitated by a qualified coach, a focus on lowering the number of female offenders in the future, specific activities to empower young women and emphasis on assisting participants who have experienced family violence.
