The Yeodene hall is a central meeting place for the whole community and used by many including visiting clubs playing indoor bowls at Yeodene. The Community celebrates Christmas together at the hall, as well as birthdays and weddings. Yeodene has a number of indoor bowling teams that play and train at the hall so many get their exercise as well as socialisation here. The hall is a central place to meet to share information, welcome new neighbours, stay connected and support anyone in need. It reduces social isolation for many that work on farms without too much interaction with others.

The community needs the hall to be a welcoming, comfortable and safe place that enables the community to get together for a variety of reasons - information sharing, exercise/sport and socialising. Without it many people wouldn't know each other and there would be no place to meet as a community. At present it has no working stove, no blinds on the windows, no heating or cooling installed and needs an upgrade of the switchboard to ensure a safe environment. Outside is in need of work too. The hall floor is great for bowling but the rest needs to be upgraded.

Tourism is moving into this area from the coast and Forrest. The upgrade to the community hall will aid in establishing Yeodene and environs as an interesting area to visit by using the hall to stage events similiar to the forrest soup day and the Birregurra festival.

The Hall is all we have in Yeodene, an impartial place to meet and play where we are all equal. It defines us as a community and is a huge asset that desperately needs improvement to extend its usefulness and maintain it for future generations and new families to the area.

The Yeodene Hall is our community's main meeting place so it is vital that we continue to care for it so we can use and enjoy it for many years to come. Thanks to everyone for your support of our community's efforts to upgrade and improve our hall/meeting place.

The Yeodene Hall is a vital hub for our community to gather, celebrate & unite. An upgrade to many of the Hall's facilities would be of enormous value to not only our community but to all those other user groups far and wide.

The hall is starting to get a bit of use lately which is wonderful. The toilets need upgrading aswell as insulation to keep patrons warm during the colder months

The Hall is getting used quite a bit and is in desperate need of some upgrade. Visiting teams for the bowls find it a bit cold at times, so lining and heating would encourage more participants. At the last function there were some issues with the toilets,so we need an upgrade of them also.
