Wyndham Community Boxing Club Inc.

Head coach Darren Cowley was inspired to start the club because he had a passion to help those in need.
*Provide a safe, fun and disciplined environment for local children
*Encourage people to take part in physical activity and develop healthy habits and lifestyle
*Provide a fun focus for children to train together and forge relationships with other local children.
*Give troubled children he tools to make the correct choices in life, have a place and people they can turn to when they are feeling in need, we are more than a boxing club, we truly are like a family.

We aim to build strong relationships within the community through sport and help the youth of Wyndham find the right path through boxing. We have members who volunteer as mentors and role models for the young and not so young participants. The leadership group is made up of people from Sudan, Philippines, Vietnam, New Zealand, Indigenous Australia and of course Australia, due to this diverse range of nationalities we are able to reach and connect with the youths in our area, many who are troubled and are seeking a diversion from the path of destruction in which they are heading.
