Workshops for parents and children at Billoopark MCHC Playgroup

The aim is to run workshops throughout the year for the parents and children of Billoopark playgroup in Wantirna. We will run workshops that include arts and craft, sporting activities, reptile visits, puppet shows and library visits. And there will be some parent only sessions such as yoga and relaxations techniques, cooking for fussy eaters, gardening etc.

It will hugely benefit our local community by engaging the parents and children in these workshops and encouraging people to join a local playgroup. Some parents might find that it is a nice social activity to do with other parents of young children and help them to meet other people. It will also give businesses that run these activities a chance to showcase what they have to offer and to give parents a chance to decide if they should take it on as a structured activity with their children.
