woorndoo recreation reserve playground upgrade

Woorndoo recreation reserve is a regional ground which is used weekly by football and netball teams in the Mininera and district football/netball league. Local children, exercise groups and travellers are also frequent users of our facilities. The current playground is limited with its equipment to the younger age groups, our vision to upgrade will provide a more appealing and inclusive area for all ages an abilities.

Our project will insure the inclusion of children of all ages with the addition of equipment aimed at older children. This will attract more members of the community, as well as football/netball users with a safe playground that will allow all children to prosper and enjoy themselves. An improved play space will also provide place and opportunity for social connection. The upgrade would give members of our community access to suitable facilities rather than having to travel to other communities for use of a playground. the closest playground is a 30 minute drive.
