Womin Djeka Balnarring Ngargee is designed to promote cross-cultural awareness/bringing community together in a vibrant, family-friendly outdoor event celebrating First Peoples' cultures and connecting community to the ancient history of the land.
The festival exposes the community to cultures developing connections/relationships with the local Aboriginal groups/peoples.
The festival is a continuation of the education the children are receiving and they are sharing it with their families creating inter-generational learning opportunities.
The festival demonstrates the community's role in and importance of reconciliation.
The shelter will provide a space within a natural environment where people can relax/gather strengthening the community .
