The project will run for six months.
Participants will attend a total of eight classes delivered twice a week
Classes will be run by 2 world class Black belts with a combined experience of over 50 years and 2 purple belts instructors. .

Violence and aggression is rising in the community. According to the Domestic Violence Resource Centre, one in four women in Australia will experience intimate partner violence in their lifetime and it is the leading cause of death and disability among women between the ages of 15 and 44 in Victoria. In three out of four cases responded to by emergency services. The economic and social impact of violence and aggression is enormous.
Whilst other programs seek to prevent this violence and aggression occurring, victims need practical skills and techniques to de-escalate and manage situations and protect themselves.
