Willowfest Festival - Celebrating Female Participation and Diversity

Willowfest would like to continue to grow and develop with some exciting opportunities such as, increasing women's participation and increase international teams. Willowfest will also have a site to provide live streaming of women's games in order to improve their brand recognition and awareness at regional/international level. Willowfest will aim to increase women's participation in the event and key activities to attract local and international players. This will assist in our partnership with cricket, with our academy and make sure we are creating the pathways for the girls to go on to bigger and better things.

The key benefits include: Coaching Clinics for all local junior players and coaches; increasing the number of female teams and multicultural participation; ACA players - former elite cricketers assisting the development of local and visiting players; Whack - live site, crowds to be approximately 2000 people in attendance; Local Participation at the live site, competition and coaching clinics; Development of Junior Willowfest Cricket Academy. The event will increase participation, develop the skills of local players and coaches. The event is inclusive of all members of the community regardless of age, gender, race and ability.
