Wiggle, Giggle & Scribble Preschool Program

This program will allow 60 hours of assessment & therapy to be provided by allied health professionals to 13 different preschools in North Western Victoria. This program will assist children to be best prepared for transitioning to primary school. Children, families and staff involved with the following preschools will directly benefit from this program: Swan Hill South Kindergarten, Swan Hill North Kindergarten, Nyah West & District Kindergarten, Kunawaa Preschool, Woorinen South Preschool, Young Adventurers Early Childhood, Lake Boga Preschool, Sea Lake Preschool, Manangatang & District Preschool, Ouyen Preschool, Underbool & District Preschool & Daycare, Birchip Preschool & Murrayville Preschool

Preparing for and transitioning into primary school is a major event in the life of every young child. Children may experience difficulties during this phase for many reasons. This program will allow students enrolled in each of these preschool education programs to have direct access to individualised assessment and intervention programs from specialists within the field including speech therapists, occupational therapists & physiotherapists. Children will be screened for developmental delays & provided with appropriate school readiness activities based on their individual learning preferences and skill set in order to optimise their transition to primary school.
