What Waste?

A waste management platform accessible to all. Initially piloting the City of Melbourne area with a comprehensive catalogue linking groups, individuals, and experts with initiatives and ideas to address the waste management in the region.
It will:
- Empower individuals by cultivating an environmental consciousness, connecting innovative ideas to action
- Partner individuals with interested stakeholders, sharing ideas and fostering connection
- Educate and offer resources and motivation for transitioning towards zero-waste
- Amalgamate local initiatives

It will be scalable to other regions, spreading effective solutions for bettering waste management.

This digital platform will provide an outlet for people to inform, share and scale up waste management ideas that are specific to that community but could also be global solutions.
Many individuals are unaware of current waste management solutions available to them within their local community. Others have innovative ideas or current solutions to manage waste but no platform to connect them with the wider community or access to sponsors to enable scale. Initial research via Sustainable Impact Mentoring Program hosted by the Auspice identified a need in our community for this informative and affiliative networking platform.
