Local artists (including puppeteers, musicians, visual artists, metal sculptors, poets, comedians) each create installations on Olympic Oval. Audience is free to roam and interact with the attractions and artists to finally arrive at a a pop up cafe to relax, reflect, and enjoy a coffee with the hostess. Some attractions perform at regular intervals whilst others invite the audience into their environments. Some attractions invite the audience to contribute to the development of the work.

West Heidelberg faces social and economic challenges and community safety remains a concern in the area, impacting social cohesion and connection. Arts participation is an effective and fun strategy for building community connections which contributes to good mental health. West Heidelberg currently lacks opportunities for local artists who wish to contribute to their areas social good. This arts event brings locals together.
