The Tonimbuk Equestrian Facility is operated by a group of volunteers who work tirelessly to deliver a range of activities including training days, competitions and clinics for horse riders everywhere, but particularly in the Gippsland Region. The property comprises 2 indoor arenas, 2 outdoor arenas and a first class country course. Currently the cross country course is suitable for those riders that can jump 80 cm and higher. This project will see the creation of a full cross country course (50 -60 cm) so that many more riders can access this amazing facility.
Horse riding is a sport that many people love - it promotes fitness, wellbeing and social connections. The Tonimbuk Equestrian Centre is run by a group of volunteers who are committed to providing an accessible first class facility to the horse riders of Gippsland. This project will involve upgrading the facility to include a brand new Cross Country Course at a height that many horse riders in gippsland require. This new cross country course will be available for training days, competitions and clinics and will be an asset to the facility and the many people who use it.

This is a fantastic facility however the cross country course is only for advanced horse riders and there is no opportunity for lower level riders to participate. A lower level course would benefit so many horse riders from near and far.
