The social enterprise will owned by the community through co-operative ownership and will employ two expert local machine sewers, at least one (or two) trainee machine sewers and seek to employ others to prepare, sell, clean premises and design the products which will be sold through establishing or sourcing a loca retail outlet. Using discarded, preferably natural fibres/fabrics and textiles, the enterprise will 1. purposed clothing and 2. produce items, (the manufacture and disposal currently causes environmental issues) eg ; reusing fabric to produce on a small to medium scale, eco-friendly menstrual, incontinence & breast pads, cleaning cloths, food covers

Through the employment of two machinists, two trainee machinists in the first instance, locals to prepare and pack the clothing for sale, locals to undertake marketing and art work and locals to sell items. It's envisaged the sale outlet will bring interested buyers to town who will also find out what else the town has to offer. Using local sources of clothing and fabric through donations and purchase, we will seek to use local 'waste' and be able to monitor the environmental footprint through that and other including use of electricity, water, the impact more broadly. Located in our town.
