We are the village

Develop and launch a website/digital platform to provide the community with information and tips for raising thriving children in Loddon eg language,literacy, health, wellbeing; also include links to resources/services that are currently not in our communities.
The Road Show launch will provide a place-based event in each of 5 small rural communities in the Loddon Shire. All children and families, community members, organisations, businesses and industry who want to support every young child in Loddon to have a good life, will be encouraged to participate.
The day will include face-to-face access to service providers, hands on activities and celebrations.

There are many challenges in raising children in small isolated communities. Our Loddon data indicates that too many children are developmentally vulnerable and starting school 'not ready to learn'. We have local, passionate and committed people. By equipping our communities with resources and support, community members will be more able to partner with and support families and our children to be school ready and thus have a better long-term future.
Demonstrating their commitment to our community the NCLLEN, Loddon Shire, Goldfields library and other agencies will partner with us and help us build on our strengths.
