A new electronic scoreboard will provide Waubra Football Club players, opposition, spectators and umpires an improved scoring facility.
The screen would be erected at the Waubra Recreation Reserve which is a public facility. As the screen displays video the community can use this asset for entertainment (movie nights, viewing major sporting events (AFL Grand Final, Melbourne Cup), family fun days), informative opportunities, regional promotion and club sponsorship support. Waubra Primary School could also have access to such a resource. Such a facility could be used to raise potential funds for the community.

Waubra needs improved resources to flourish. The community is currently disadvantaged as very little money has been spent on public spaces, facilities or town beautification.
To improve the public reserve's facilities will increase our residents pride in their township, encourage interaction, engage the public in entertaining, sporting, social and educational opportunities.
An electronic screen is versatile to the different needs of our community, as it can cater for various age, demographic and interest groups.
At present the scoreboard is unsafe, offers limited protection from the weather and needs to be manned.

The Waubra scoreboard must be the most antiquated scoreboard in the region! It is downright dangerous.
A new electronic screen would be a wonderful resource for our community. Educational, informative and entertaining!

This would be a fantastic asset to our whole community, not just to the Football/Netball club.
