The Showgrounds are home to Dennington Pony Club, Warrnambool Adult Riders Club, Warrnambool Poultry Club and Warrnambool Agricultural Society Inc. with approximately 180+ memberships. The area is used for monthly rallys by the horse groups, poultry meetings & auctions conducted several times a year and used extensively in October for the Annual Shows Animal Nursery & Poultry Judging. The area is also used for year-round storage. Five groups with memberships of 160+ have also expressed interest in making the Showgrounds their new home once renovations are complete. Other interested clubs are more than welcome. VOTE FOR US PLEASE :-)

The Showgrounds is land set aside for the benefit and enjoyment of all. The pavilions date back to 1970, have no internal linings or hot and cold running water, and only two power points. Our goal is to remove the existing sad structure and give our Clubs a bigger shed that would home an 80 person meeting/function room, office, full kitchen, toilets and showers, and Club trailer storage areas. Ample room for the Poultry Pavilion and Animal Nursery remains. With 6000+ people attending the Annual Show, we need to provide a safe, secure and warm environment for people and animals.

Being something that is used for multiple events through the year and is also used for storage, it certainly deserves an upgrade!

I think would be beneficial to so many groups in Warrnambool from riding clubs to show goers and it would benefit for years to come

Fingers crossed as a member of the Dennington Pony Club the facilities do need a well deserved upgrade
