The project will make a wall of activities to suit all ages for the Frankston South Community Centre. The wall of activities will be placed in the waiting/reception area at the centre and will be built at varying heights so that children/youth of all ages are able to play a game that corresponds to their age and relevant skill level. The games will offer stimulating entertainment but not reflect any violent, warlike or sexual content. Local residents will be encouraged to take part in the construction of the wall.
The Frankston South Community Centre offers a range of services to the residents of Frankston South. Many of the people using the Centre come there with their friends or families who are required to wait in the waiting/reception area until their friend/family member has finished the meeting or activity that they are involved in. The lack of things to do while waiting can lead to behaviour, that at times, is not of benefit to other people using the Centre. The wall of activities will entertain those in the waiting/reception area and create a more peaceful environment.

good on you for designing with different access points in mind. Does your project cover the building installation of cabinetry and the actual electronic devices? I think there is some potential for a functional community resource is the Frankston south community centre facilitators in partnership ? If there is wifi who will monitor ? What kind of digital devices? Great thinking either way I ask out of interest to vote. Regards, Emma
