Waldara recreational track lighting project

With excellent recreation pathways connecting communities across Wangaratta, significant work is required to ensure that people of all ages feel safe in using them at all times. The introduction of efficient lighting complements the Wangaratta communities commitment to improving long term environmental sustainable development, while improving health and well being.

This project will create: a safe environment to use bike paths in the evenings (riding, walking, running, skating); sustainable LED lighting, bringing environmental long term benefits; encouraging an active lifestyle during all hours (accessible at all hours); connect communities across Wangaratta; pathways to provide a connection of school networks, providing safe avenues for children to travel to and from school and sporting events.
