VASS Community Coffee Cart

VASS staff will work on the coffee cart with young people from the local area. They will provide training and support to the young people. We will focus on supporting those who are struggling the most to gain work and experience within Australia. The focus will be providing a supportive training environment, so that young people will build the experience and confidence in themselves to be able to work in the Australian workforce, whilst providing a service to the local community. After the initial year of funding, we hope that the venture will be self sustainable.

VASS will utilise the coffee cart to provide training and work for young people in the local area who are struggling to get work. By providing them with a supportive working environment, with proper training we will be able to give them the experience and provide a reference so that they may be able to get work in the hospitality industry. The coffee cart will be able to be hired by local organisations and be present at local markets.
