The pavilion at Foster Reserve has been built by a number of iterations over the last 40 years. Used now by several clubs in Craigieburn, it does not have the facilities to provide an environment that has the means of being inclusive and welcoming to everyone, regardless of age, gender, race and ability. The rooms do not have female friendly changerooms, and may not meet specifications as laid down by Cricket Australia, the AFL or Football Australia. Nor does the facility cater for people with disabilities.
Upgraded facilities at Foster Reserve will give access to all; enhancing the experience and participation of female members and people with disabilities. By improving the facilities, our clubs can look to attract a larger base of members, increase diversity and have a facility that meets all sports and council requirements as legislated or recommended. Sport and recreation contributes to the health and wellbeing of all people and helps break down the barriers that once stopped people with a disability from participating.

Excellent idea as current facility is decrepit and has never been fit for purpose. It is important to upgrade this pavilion which is located in the older part of Craigieburn, to ensure locals do not feel left out due to developments in the newer areas of Craigieburn.
