Upgrade Indoor Cooling & Heating Air Quality

It is proposed to replace the existing wall mounted air conditioners with one more advanced and efficient reverse-cycle air conditioner of 252 kW. The Club is a non-profit community social organisation whose funding comes from member fees and donations and some government funding. Owing to the limit of funding, the building was built with light construction materials and has poor insulation. The Club’s funding is mainly spent on the essential items like electricity, building maintenance, staffing. There is usually no fundind left for heating, ventilation and air conditioning.

The Club is not solely for soccer games. It hosts Christenings, social gatherings for the aged, pensioners, sports activities for both boys and girls under 18 and adults. The cultural singing and dancing hall is used by all age groups for social functions including: weddings, birthdays, religious days like Christmas, New Year, Australia Day, Easter. It's used by members of different communities who cannot afford to run functions at commercial locations. The proposed/upgraded air conditioning system will promote and attract elderly members to spend more time in the Club venue, interacting with others instead of staying home.
