Upgrade Indoor Cooling & Heating Air Quality

It is proposed to install an advanced and efficient reverse recycle air conditioner of 252 kW. The Centre is a non-profit community social community hall whose funding comes from members, fees and donation, and some government funding. Owing to the limit of funding, the Centre has not afforded to install an air conditioner. Funding is mainly spent on the essential items like electricity, building maintenance and staffing. There is usually no funding left for heating, ventilation and air conditioning.

The Centre is a meeting place for Culturally and Linguistically Diverse youth across the western suburbs. During the main activity hours on Friday and Saturday nights, the may host up 2,000 people. The Centre’s purpose is to draw youth to the Centre in a supervised environment. The Centre is also used a sports venue. The problem of the Centre is that it is too warm in summer and too cold in the winter because of its walls and roof are constructed with metal cladding, therefore attendees tend not to stay.
