It is proposed to replace the existing wall mounted air conditioners with one more advanced and efficient reverse-recycle air conditioner of 252 kW. The Club is a non-profit community social organisation. Our funding comes from member fees and donations and some government funding. Due to limited funding, the building was built with light construction materials and has poor insulation. The Club’s funding is mainly spent on the essential items like electricity, building maintenance, staffing. There is usually no fund left for heating, ventilation and air conditioning.

For members of different communities who cannot afford to run functions at commercial locations, the club hosts: Christenings, social gatherings for the aged / pensioners, bingo, family nights, cultural singing and dancing for all age groups; and social functions including weddings, birthdays, religious days like Christmas, New Year, Australia Day, Easter. The proposed and upgraded air conditioning system will promote and attract the elderly members to spend more time in the Club venue, interacting with others instead of staying at home.
