Upgrade Indoor Cooling & Heating Air Quality

It is proposed to install an advanced and efficient reverse recycle air conditioner of 252 kW. The Centre is a non-profit community centre whose funding comes from members’ fees and donations, and some government funding. Owing to the limit of funding, the Centre has not afforded to install an air conditioner. The Centre's funding is mainly spent on the essential items like electricity, building maintenance, staffing. There is usually no fund left for heating, ventilation and air conditioning.

The Centre is an Adult Education & Training Centre that provides a number of services to the muslim community in Coolaroo and surrounding community.
Children after school Qur'an classes teach them to respect Australian and Islamic citizens. They run social functions including BBQs, wedding, Festivals, birthday, religious days like Christmas, Australia Day, Ramadan for those members of different communities who cannot afford a function run by commercial organisers. The proposed and upgraded air conditioning system will promote and attract the members of the community to spend more time in the centre which they can interact instead of staying at home.
