Umbrellas, Shade and Community BBQ for the Daylesford Sunday Market

The Daylesford Sunday Market is run by the Daylesford Spa Country Railway, a volunteer led not for profit organisation dedicated to the restoration and preservation of our railway heritage. The market currently has little shade for patrons attending and no BBQ available for community use. We are in need of commercial grade wind rated large umbrellas that are too expensive to purchase ourselves. We are also in need of some sturdy marquees and a quality commercial grade BBQ that would be a great benefit to community groups doing sausage sizzles at the market.

For over 36 years the market has run to support the railway and the Daylesford community. With an average of 3,000 visitors a market we are the largest weekly tourist attraction in a tourist town. Providing patrons with shelter will enhance this Daylesford asset and make for a more friendly destination on rainy and sunny days. The marquees and BBQ would be used by the volunteers at the railway, by community groups doing sausage sizzles at the market and by charities selling raffle tickets and the like.
