The objective of Two Rivers is to create a space for presentation of a range of temporary exhibitions, performances, workshops, poetry readings, artist residency opportunities along with community engagement and capacity building programs. Our aim is to build on the past 10 years' work of the South West Alternative Medium Project (SWAMP), which saw SWAMP successfully create an alternative approach to community health and well being through the development and production of innovative programs designed specifically to engage a cross-section of new and emerging creatives from all walks of life.

SWAMP has outgrown its current rented accommodation and needs to grow in order to continue to service the community's need and thirst for innovative art programs. Two Rivers Gallery and Artspace will offer gallery space for exhibitions and performance based events and continue to provide various art based workshops . Two Rivers is situated on the corner of Ettrick Road and Princes Highway Tyrendarra on the edge of the coastal access point to the Indigenous cultural landscape Budj Bim. Two Rivers will become an integral tourist element in the landscape that includes the Indigenous Tourist Trail of the Great Road

This project ticks so many boxes for this very small community in the South West of Victoria situated near the end of the Great Ocean Road . Art, workshops, entertainment, relaxing, seaside walks, artist talks, strong Indigenous history - what more do you want. Vote for us now it is not too late. thanks

This program provides connection and reconciliation on so many levels - having a stable and permanent home will bring sustainability and collaboration and creative sharing to both community and people visiting the area. Perfect place for this to help break down barriers.
