Twilight Christmas Gift Market and festival

Currently there is little community activity at the end of the year in Kyneton. We feel that this project will be a good community building activity, providing locals with an opportunity to have access to quality locally produced goods and for artisans to display and market their wares. This market event will be an opportunity to celebrate the year and tie in with summer and the holiday season.

The project will provide a Christmas focus. At present there is little that happens for the community leading up to Christmas, this project will be a good opportunity to add seasonal vibrancy to the town. There will be three aspects to the program:
1. A quality art and craft market featuring the work of local artists and crafts people.
2. An entertainment program featuring the Kyneton Brass Band, the Kyneton Street Band and other local performers.
3. A Community Christmas Tree - a large tree to be decorated by those attending the festival.
