These 3 areas continue to degrade over time and in wetter periods potholing increases: 1. Asphalt Recreation Reserve Carpark - 800 square metres; 2. Asphalt Rail Trail Carpark - 900 square metres; 3. Asphalt Perimeter road Reserve Oval - 1050 square metres.
These areas require ongoing maintenance from volunteer organisations, with low longevity. Sealing these areas will provide safer and more accessible areas for the community as well as people with a disability and will also reduce maintenance.

The rail trail reserve is well used by the community and tourists for walking, cycling and community events such as the Mothers Day Classic walk from Toongabbie to Glengarry for cancer research and also serves as a carpark for local CFA.
The Recreation Reserve is also used by the community for a range of purposes and events across the year. This includes but is not limited to cricket, tennis, badminton and horse related activities. There is a playground and skate park within the reserve. Other community organisations and groups use the mens shed, carpet bowls and the Toongabbie playgroup.
