• Our main goal is to create a warm and inviting space for everyone in the community, being only 5km from town with picturesque views we are the perfect location for parties and gatherings.
• Paint full interior of hall to make it more inviting and modern.
• Add showers into the disabled toilet for campers during festival.
• Encourage use of the hall for community use and social events.
• Gather the Thowgla locals including farming and young families together, to encourage stronger relationships and socialisation.
• The hall has a strong history which we would like to preserve.

• The Valley of Thowgla is resident to at least 20 farming families, the hall provides a location where families can get together, let their hair down and socialise.
• Farmers spend long hours working alone with little human contact, which can allow mental health problems to fester. Men are at greater risk of suicide but least likely to seek help, encouraging the “look over the farm gate” mentality, getting together, having a yarn and a beer just might make the difference in someone’s life.
• Promoting a sense of community and belonging within our younger generation.

This hall has lots of users from parties, Christmas tree get togethers, campers and as a general meeting place and needs to be maintained.

Helps to keep Thowgla Valleys family community spirit alive and well. Always look forward to the general get-togethers during the year, especially the Christmas Tree, a good time for young and old.
