The Wheelie Good Fleet - tools for community on wheels!

The Wheelie Good Fleet is comprised of fully-moveable trailers full of equipment needed by community gardens and charities to run community events. Regardless of where they are in Victoria, these groups would be able to easily access essential equipment that was previously unavailable. This includes:
-the Wheelie Good Shed, with tools for building community gardens; -the Wheelie Good Greenhouse, for growing seedlings; -the Wheelie Good Pantry, with equipment for activities such as hosting meals and making preserves; -the Wheelie Good Press, with an olive oil press ready for community harvesting! This will help community groups do more… for less!

Much of the equipment needed by community groups to run events and maintain gardens is expensive, bulky or inaccessible. We want to break down that barrier by putting that essential equipment on wheels, enabling it to be easily shared - moving from place to place as needed - and used for community garden builds, workshops, street parties, and more! This grant wouldn’t just help one organisation or community garden, but many for years to come. To launch these Wheelie Good trailers, we will host community events including an olive harvesting and pressing day, a passata making party and free workshops.
