Wonderful! Would be great if the homeschool community was included.

Developed for primary schools, ‘the Leafologists: Design-a-Treehouse’ program is designed to spark students creativity & curiosity for the STEM subjects through an environmental & artistic lens .. it’s ‘MakerSpace STEM’ meeting its outdoor artsy cousin: e*STEAM!
Delivered from our pop-up 'indoor/outdoor studio-classroom’ at WheelersHill library, the program presents a set of seasonal e*STEAM workshops that bring outdoor inspirations back into the creative MakerSpace. Interweaving nature-inspired creative thinking; STEM-led problem-solving; hands-on 'hi & low-tech' tinkering .. with a 90% 'screen-free' approach.
Coupled with site-visits to hi-tech university facilities, 'the Leafologists' aim to ignite passion for the great STEMprojects of the future.
The program will not only open students minds to the STEM subjects, but will provide one-on-one support for students needing extra help in maths & science subject areas .. using support from community elders that have a professional background in the STEM subjects. Fostering a connection to our environment, & our local cross-cultural STEM community.
A range of ‘hi & low-tech’ design options will be featured to appeal to the variety of learning styles/interests/backgrounds of the various students .. using many cross-discipline inspirations. With the most innovative & creative designs to be 3D printed for our special 'e*STEAMed' Awards Presentation.
