Join us in the movement to create a better world. Harnessing the power of storytelling through film, we will explore the most pressing social justice issues of our time. Partnering with Cinema Nova, a series of twenty screenings will be presented alongside workshops and discussions from local arts and social justice leaders. We will build upon the North’s vibrant arts culture, provide a platform for local filmmakers and expand local audience access to events. We will bring together a diverse audience and rally them around solving pressing social causes. Free activities will be included to ensure access for all.

At a time of great division, we will cut through the politics and unite communities. We surveyed the inner north and they said they’re passionate about arts and social justice. They would like the festival in the North!

Partnering with local experts in the arts, local NGOs and human rights organisations, we will serve as a conduit between artistic expression and direct action. Local emerging artists will be given a platform to network, screen their works, and share their stories. We know that statistics change policy, but film and the arts change people’s hearts and minds. And that’s enduring change.
