A universal service/one stop HUB which will assist in linking the community, specifically the most under-involved individuals and families, through relationship-based practice, integrated service delivery and the promotion of community connections through specific soft entry access points.
Our blue sky vision is to provide the community with: means to access options and information; support (parenting, social, personal & educational); health services (MCHN, Allied Health, Sexual & Reproductive health and Family Planning); mental health support (trauma based practice / peer support for anxiety / depression, counselling, etc.); education pathways; community development.
Placement of this HUB in a central location will benefit the community greatly by providing all these services in one place, minimising the risk of individuals and families missing out on much needed service use.
Individuals and families deserve the opportunity to have a HUB to connect with others in similar circumstances and link in with workers to assist them without pressure. This service would benefit individuals and families, and could put an end to families living for generations on income support. The service will incorporate family-centred and evidence-based practice and ecological holistic supports.

Absolutely needed in this community. Every girl should be given the opportunity to connect with a women who can guide them in the right path, support them as they grow into a women and give them love and encouragement. Well done for making this happen.

Having worked in the area, many of these girls have no real role models in life let alone as mothers. This program is vital for improving their roles as mothers, improving their self esteem, building resilience and support networks. Great idea girls.

A wonderful initiative that should be implemented throughout Victoria as a whole! A one stop hub will enable people to access the means to support where and when applicable without a need for searching for the right assistance as it can be difficult for many to identify where to go.
